Wanted to post that quote in honor of Dick Clark.... and my latest rejection. Heard back from Cliff Audretch III today. He didn't bite on "Skinny Dippin' ". He said, there's no one at his label that the song would be a good fit for and that there was another country single released not to long ago with the same title. Grrrr.... no impressing this man. Doesn't mean I'm giving up on it though.
Sooo... today I decided to send Skinny Dippin' to Ryan Beuschel at ASCAP Nashville. Looking to stay on his radar. He's a pretty harsh song critic as well so we'll see what he thinks.
Scot Sax sent our latest song demo to his publisher to get some feedback. Looking forward to seeing what happens with this one. Will post the mp3 as soon as possible!! Stay tuned.
