Yesterday was a whirlwind of obligations and "To Do" lists and today isn't much different. So many important personal life things to take care of as well as stuff for school it's overwhelming. Barely any room for networking let alone blogging! So in advance, apologies for my brevity.
BIG show coming up this Friday evening! Liv Devine Band featuring Michael August (that's me!) is playing an awesome show this Friday at Philadelphia's premier music venue, World Cafe Live. The very small amounts of time I've had yesterday and today were spent answering and following up emails from my Nashville trip. Speaking with co-writers about songs we've written and speaking to new co-writers about new sessions. Publisher/songplugger, Shane Barrett has been so gracious to hook me up with yet another writer. Planning the sessions are the tough part...so much to do so little time...such is life.
CHAPTER 2: NASHVILLE - The purpose of this blog is to network with at least 1 music industry professional every business day for 365 days with the goal of "making it" as a songwriter/recording artist. Below I will document my efforts, successes, failures and lessons learned daily. Stay tuned!
